The company has responded to major opportunities in the industry with significant investment in state of the art moulding technology and the development of several patented new products, providing unique solutions to enhance the security of major global brands. As a result, the company is seeking to appoint a highly accomplished manufacturing specialist to lead and develop an established team to achieve improved levels of operational excellence.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will assume responsibility for a team of Operations Managers, with a total workforce of c150 production and engineering personnel working across plastics, metal and print production operations on a multi- shift, 7 day production operation. A key focus of your role will be to reinforce SOP, Preventative Maintenance and Risk Assessments in order to improve OEE and Health & Safety within the plant. At the same time you will be responsible for revitalising CI and WCM activity in order to sustain excellent levels of customer service and support, efficiency and, most importantly, profitability as the business expands.

An accomplished people manager with a practical, hands-on approach, you are able to demonstrate a record of operational efficiency improvements, ideally gained within a high volume plastics/engineering/fmcg manufacturing environment. Ideally degree qualified in an Engineering discipline you must be commercially astute with exceptional communication skills and the strength of character to challenge both your team and current thinking in order to advance the business.
