Financial Controller

The company is a £multi-million turnover subsidiary of a highly successful worldwide manufacturing group. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual, who is able to bring innovative thinking to a fast moving role. You'll be the type of person with the ability to challenge the status quo, identifying areas of system and process improvement to ensure the timely provision of accurate, meaningful data to the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Site MD, you will be responsible for the effective co-ordination of the site's financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, preparation of site budgets, quarterly forecasts and strategic plans. The successful candidate will be highly business aware, working closely with the senior team to identify and implement opportunities for profit improvement.

In addition you will assist in the development and implementation of the company's financial IT and information systems.

Ideally a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) you must have sound financial management experience gained in a fast moving manufacturing environment. This will be combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of IT systems including SAP.
